Traffic - The Life Blood Of Any Site Or Blog
-
Without regular traffic to your site or blog you might as well close it down and take up a new hobby. Because without visitors and traffic your online business is a hobby not a business. Traffic can take many forms and be derived from many sources. Are you making the most of these sources? Below are several methods of attracting visitors how many are you using?
If you have a popular blog your traffic will more than likely come from your RSS feed subscribers …can your visitors find your feed? Unless you are very short sighted you will have see where my feed can be accessed. Make your feed visible.Once again if you have a blog how many social networking sites are you using? Once again if you look in my sidebar you’ll find at least 3 potential sources of traffic, plus additional social bookmarking links below. The Blogrush widget looks like it might be particularly interesting
If you are using article marketing to attract visitors to your site what kind of articles are you writing? If you are doing very informative articles you are probably losing visitors. Make you articles so that anyone reading them wants to find out more.
On the same subject if you are using article marketing to sell affiliate products then your articles should be sales letters not informative articles.
Is there a link to your site in your forum signatures? Are you in fact visiting related forums and posting on a regular basis? If not join 3 forums today related to the site and make regular posts.
On a final note if you have monetized your site and you haven’t got a lot of traffic then take the monetization off until your traffic builds up.

Great post, thanks
I agree that you need to make your RSS feed available in a easy to see area, but I also have found that a lot of people are not familiar with RSS feeds so it’s a good idea to have a link to a page explaining RSS feeds.
This was the first post I have read on your site and it gives me the urge to read more so you should hear from me a bit more today and hopefully the future.
Keep on posting great posts.
